Social Enterprises include :

Tossed & Found, in which clients work with UL professors and students to build creative functional furniture made from hurricane debris.

  • Art As Therapy , where clients attend art workshops and create meaningful pieces of art for the Outreach Center Gallery.

New Leaf Garden, where the Outreach Center acquires vacant lots in the surrounding area and clients work with a certified horticulturist and experience the therapeutic effects of planting, growing and harvesting herbs and vegetables to sell to local restaurants and farmer's markets.

One of many services offered by the Outreach Center, Life Enrichment is critical to helping people rebuild their lives. Life Enrichment is made up of "lagniappe" or extra programs, workshops, and events that add enrichment to our clients daily lives.

"The organization understands the importance of continued growth and renewed vision, which includes the creation of innovative programs and strong community partnerships."
