How can you make a difference in the
lives of these familes?

Anything that you can give will help the women and children of the Lighthouse, where needs include everything you need in your own home. Our needs include those of time, talent and treasure: donations of goods, monetary donations, and time served as a volunteer.

Existing needs include:

  • monetary donations of any amount
  • food (perishable & non-perishable)
  • household items
  • personal hygiene products
  • baby supplies
  • office supplies
  • gardening tools
  • vehicles

Tax deductible donations of any amount do much to improve the lives of our neighbors in crisis. Your one-time gift or your regular monthly support goes directly to help provide food, shelter, clothing, job training, and counseling for mothers and their children.

Donations should be dropped off at the Outreach Center during business hours, 9 - 5, Monday through Friday.

For more information on making a donation please call the Outreach Center at (337) 237-7618.

Student (only Mackenzie) from L.J. Alleman, Mackenzie Lennon (pictured below in the center with her sister, Savannah), participated in a cookie dough fundraiser to raise funds for their school. Some of their relatives and friends who live out of state that contributed to the fundraiser did not want the cookie dough that came with the contribution. The girls decided to donate the cookie dough to the woman and children of the Outreach Center's Lighthouse for use during the holidays. We here at the Outreach want to thank these two girls for their generosity and thoughtfulness.
