Existing needs include:

Tax deductible donations of any amount do much to improve the lives of our neighbors in crisis. Your one-time gift or your regular monthly support goes directly to help provide food, shelter, clothing, job training, and counseling for mothers and their children.
Donations should be dropped off at the Outreach Center during business hours, 9 - 5, Monday through Friday.

Have items you want to donate? If you're cleaning out your closet or want to hold a goods drive with your civic or church group, here's a list of what we need:
- Household items - anything you need for your house we need for ours - linens, dishes, appliances, etc.
- Food - perishables & nonperishables (please call ahead if bringing perishable food)
- Personal Hygiene items - shampoo, soap, razors, deodorant, etc.
- Office supplies
- Clothing - men & women's coats, jeans, socks, gloves, new underwear and socks
- Gardening supplies
- Vehicles
- You name it, we can probably use it (If in doubt, just call and ask us)

Donations can be dropped off at Acadiana Outreach Center's Well.Mart Donations Area, downtown Lafayette at 125 S. Buchanan St. (at the corner of Second and Buchanan), Monday through Friday between 8:30am - 5:30pm.

Student (only Mackenzie) from L.J. Alleman, Mackenzie Lennon (pictured below in the center with her sister, Savannah), participated in a cookie dough fundraiser to raise funds for their school. Some of their relatives and friends who live out of state that contributed to the fundraiser did not want the cookie dough that came with the contribution. The girls decided to donate the cookie dough to the woman and children of the Outreach Center's Lighthouse for use during the holidays. We here at the Outreach want to thank these two girls for their generosity and thoughtfulness.
