“Drugs and alcohol had taken over my life and I was at the end of my rope,” said Summer, pictured at left, (blue shirt). 

“I felt lost and scared and I didn’t know where to turn,” added Summer.Today Summer is excited to be self-reliant and sober – “more than happy” to start a new life.  After graduating from the Outreach Center’s recovery program Summer returned to her home to raise her three children and be a mentor to others in recovery.

Today Nora lives in her own apartment, runs her own housekeeping business, is a graduate of the Outreach Center’s recovery program and is active with “Design for Living” and other community service projects.
